Life Changing Event

Something that had changed my life is when i went roller skating for my first time. It was when at least two or three years ago when this had happened over the summer with my brother, he was a volunteer to help with the kids. i was in a camp that we had a field trip to a roller skating place. It was empty but it had nice place to roller skate in. they only had some hip-hop and some what of country music which was boring. i thought it was easy to do that.

The first thing that they made us do was to sit down for we can have some food before going out on the platform to roller skate. So when every body was done we went to go get are roller skates that has the four wheels on it. They all but them on and went to go roller skate. it was hard for me to get up and start heading to the platform. I had rolled myself to the out side of it. the person that watches every body when roller skating. He told me to have fun and to start roller skating. So i told him that i don't know how and i might fall. So he helped me get on the platform and then i fell, i laughed. so he helped me up and then i fell again. I fell after try and try. So then i gave up. i left from the plat form and sat down drawing on my self.

where i was sitting at there was sticky stuff all over the table and i had but my had on it. so i went to the bathroom to wash me had and since the floor was tile and walked into the bath room with the skates i feel on my hand landed on my arm straight to catch my self. i cried and cried, they gave me a bag with lots of ice to keep the pain down, then my dad came picked me my mom left her job early and met us at a hospital. you could see in my parents eyes that they were scared and worried.

when we got to the hospital they had token me to the x-ray room to take x-rays of my arm. they told us that my arm was broken only wrist was fractured almost to the point of breaking it. so then they took me too another room to give me a cast it was hot and then cooled down. it was fun actually having a cast on, besides the point it was the hand i wrote with. also another bad thing is if got wet it smelled like skunk. so i had to have it on for 2 months. it was hard because i was so used to doing every with my left hand i had to use my right hand to write and etc.

so after two months i took went back to the hospital to get the cast off my arm. After that person took it off another person came in and told me how to do the exercises. there was three ways i had to exercise my wrist. then i was on my way back to my home. so this is my life changing experience so i would not ever go back to trying roller skating.
